80 % Alkohol inaktiviert behüllte Viren, wie z.B. HIV, Hepatitis B und C. Die fettlösenden Wirkstoffe von Alkoholen, wie Ethanol oder 2-Propanol, zerstören die Lipidmembran der Viren.
